Last weekend, we witnessed an extraordinary event that combined sports, compassion, and charity. Piotr K. Mazur, known for his passion for football, organized a charity auction as part of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (WOŚP). He offered a signed FC Barcelona flag, autographed by the legendary Xavi Hernández.

The event aimed to support the health and safety of children, particularly those suffering from oncological and hematological diseases.

3,500 PLN for WOŚP!

The auction raised an impressive amount of 3,500 PLN, approximately 850 euros.

In a photo gallery, Piotr and Xavi proudly displayed their WOŚP heart stickers, which the organizers gifted to them. This shows how crucial it is for each of us to contribute to improving the lives of the youngest.

The WOŚP foundation has been active for 33 years and continues to gain recognition both in Poland and abroad.

Pride in supporting children

This year, WOŚP focused on supporting children's health, specifically in pediatric oncology and hematology. Given the many challenges faced by young patients, every penny counts. Additionally, Xavi's involvement in contributing to this cause is a perfect example of how athletes can use their popularity to inspire others to take action for social good.
